Application: Advanced Airbag Control Systems
CTS belt tension sensors directly measure the strain on a steel beam using
proprietary, piezoresistive sensor technology. Mechanical travel over
the sensing range is less than 0.05mm. This eliminates sensor errors
associated with sticking and hysteresis common to other designs and
provides accuracy to near zero loads.
