Non-Contacting Rotary Sensors

The 582 and 583 series non-contacting rotary sensors are the latest in a long line of rotary position sensors developed by CTS for the automotive and adjacent markets. The design is applicable to a number of vehicle applications, such as throttle position, active manifold, advanced diesel controls, transmissions and variable controls for turbochargers. The sensor employs a unique Hall-effect technology and magnet structure (patent pending) that minimizes the effect of stray electromagnetic fields on the performance of the sensor.
